Sometimes it becomes necessary to clear old or expired data from the timeline. Each time the timeline is refreshed, data is cached in memory so that Tapestry doesn't have load all the timeline items each time you open the app and start scrolling. This helps keep the app performant and speedy.

If you do want to clear the timeline of old or out of date posts however, here are the steps:

1) Tap the Settings gear at the bottom right of the timeline.

2) Tap Advanced Settings

3) Under the Data section tap Clear Feed Caches > Tap to select the feed in question.

4) Tap Clear Cache at the top of the screen and tap to confirm you want to Delete the Data when prompted (don't worry, it will be reloaded).

5) Close Settings and return to the timeline. You may need to manually refresh the timeline so see the items re-load once again.
