Tot uses default values for the Edit > Substitutions and Edit > Spelling and Grammar menus. If you're working with code snippets, this can be a pain so just turn them off. Tot will save these settings across launches and sync them to your other devices.
 

Each dot has its own settings, so it's easy to have a dot dedicated to code and other one for writing.
