When you mute audio in Triode, it will keep the stream playing while lowering the volume. This is handy for quick interruptions.
 

After five minutes of muting, the stream will automatically stop to prevent excess data usage.
 

Muting a stream in Triode is different for each platform:
 

iOS: Tap on the artwork in the now playing view

macOS: Click on the artwork in the now playing view (there is also a setting to use a system hotkey)

tvOS: Click the touchpad on the Siri Remote or the center button of a standard remote while in the now playing view
