How to add your Bluesky account to Tapestry

Connecting your Bluesky account to Tapestry using our built-in Bluesky connector is easy.

 

 

If you DO NOT have two-factor authentication set up on your Bluesky account:

 

- Start by launching Tapestry and tapping the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner of your timeline (it looks like a gear). Then tap Connectors, and select the Bluesky connector from the connector list.

 

- Tap the Create a Feed button, then the Authorize button.

 

- Enter the email address and password you used to create your Bluesky account, then tap the Login button.

 

- Tap the Save button, then Done. That’s it!

 

 

If you DO have two-factor authentication set up on your Bluesky account:

 

If you have two-factor authentication set up on your Bluesky account, you’ll need to create an App Password in Bluesky for Tapestry to use.

 

Log in to your Bluesky account in a web browser.

 

- Click on Settings, then Privacy and Security.

 

- Select App Passwords then click Add App Password.

 

- Give the App Password a name (such as “Tapestry”) and click Next.

 

Make a note of the password on the next screen and click Done.

 

Now that you have an app password, you can use it to connect to your Bluesky account in Tapestry:

 

Launch Tapestry and tap the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner of your timeline (it looks like a gear). Then tap Connectors, and select the Bluesky connector from the connector list.

 

- Tap the Create a Feed button, then the Authorize button.

 

- Enter the email address and the App Password that you just created in Bluesky, then tap the Login button.

 

- Tap the Save button, then Done
